I am originally from Milwaukee and started my career at State Farm as an Intern the summer before my senior year of college at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I fell in love with State Farm that summer and never left, with the following years primarily spent in Human Resources and Claims Leadership. I celebrated my 15 year anniversary last year. Charlottesville is the city that not only accepted me but embraced me. It is where I met my husband, where we bought our first home, and where we are raising our children. I cannot wait to give back to the community that has become my home.

I have my MBA in Insurance; representing a collection of courses that allowed me to learn more and dream bigger. I am a strong believer in constant development (personally, professionally, mentally, physically, etc.). I have also earned additional insurance designations that broadened my knowledge, ChFC® CLU® CPCU® FLMI®.

My husband Mike and I have been married for 11 years, he is a carpenter by trade and has his own residential construction company. We have two amazing children: Miller is 10 and Maverick is 7; they are both involved in various activities throughout the year that keep our social calendars and our hearts full.
